The architecture embodies the same dialogue between inside and out, material and atmosphere. A warm terracotta floor flows into a terrazzo concrete base, enriched with Sapelli wood accents that subtly reference the Brazilian modernism of Jorge Zalszupin. A custom light-stretch ceiling introduces a soft, diffused glow that reinforces the outdoor feeling and lends the entire space a calm, natural rhythm throughout the day. Two large pivoting wall panels allow the interior to transform according to its use — opening the space for exhibitions and events, or defining a more intimate atmosphere for presentations and gatherings. Vertical rhythm, sculptural detailing and natural light create an environment defined by contemporary quiet luxury. Most of the year, Ex Terra functions as a refined design store dedicated to exceptional outdoor concepts, while part of the calendar is reserved for exhibitions such as the current showcase by Draga & Aurel — sixteen exclusive works created for their Belgian première. More than a showroom, Ex Terra is a destination: a layered, sensory space where architecture, design and experience converge in perfect balance.
