DONE Design to Build was tasked with the office design for Aquila Capital, an energy investment management company, located in Lisbon, Portugal.
The challenge was to create the Portuguese headquarters of a renowned German energy company, adapting it to the new work methodologies and at the same time developing an architecture that prioritizes ecology in the selection of materials and solutions and that reflects the contemporary identity of this company.
“Green” was the original idea of this project. The vegetation, the green color, the wood and the use of cork were the materials chosen to give an answer to the image that was intended for the Office.
Informal meeting areas, lounge areas and leisure spaces are very prevalent in this project.
