Tom Skeehan and the team at SKEEHAN’s Canberra based studio. “As we grow, we’re creating a new collaborative studio model – bringing in experts who have knowledge of a specific design problem, project, or a new industry altogether. It’s this unique process of building a team around a brief that allows us to delve deep into each project, taking the time to consider the materials, story and purpose at every design stage”, says Tom.
Award-winning Canberra-based industrial designer Tom Skeehan has shared with us a total brand overhaul for his eponymous multi-disciplinary studio SKEEHAN which dropped this week, including a new company logo, website and products. Creative agency Inklab was chosen to lead the rebrand who’s response celebrates SKEEHAN’s collaborative business approach and multidisciplinary design process.
Tom established his studio in 2011, with SKEEHAN now encompassing a dedicated, close-knit team of research and design experts who offer end-to-end design services with the user in mind.
“I’m feeling very proud of the new identity,” says Tom and for a good reason too – the new look is polished yet approachable, sophisticated yet authentic and relatable, much like SKEEHAN’s work.
The team describe themselves as problem solvers at heart – one that relishes in the collaborative design process. “Through our close and honest partnerships with local researchers, designers and manufacturers; we create thoughtful products, spaces and experiences; each uniquely tailored to the people and environments they are intended for.”
