Masquespacio presents Shade, a pendant light made from four different materials, designed for the Spanish lighting brand RACO. After a strategic rebrand from RACO, Masquespacio’s new lamp will become a part of the new collection of the Barcelona-based brand, launched under the new brand direction. The light is inspired by the shadows cast and projected by the world-famous Mediterranean light. Shade creates a strong contrast between the materials not usually seen in the lighting sector, combining raffia, leather, marble and brass, while remaining firmly rooted in a post-modern aesthetic. Masquespacio is an award winning creative consultancy formed in 2010 by Ana Milena Hernández Palacios and Christophe Penasse. Combining the two disciplines of their founders, interior design and marketing, the Spanish design agency creates branding and interior projects through a unique approach that results in fresh and innovative concepts rewarded with a continued international recognition.
